Looks like neither the front page localcalendar one, nor the forum's one gives this ability to me, it's only looky-loo. Is this a right I can be granted or must I submit a request to an admin "gatekeeper" to get this done?

The link above has a space in it after the "yahoo.", which breaks the whole link string. If I copy this chunk, remove the space and bring up this fixed URL in my browser, I get prompted that I'm going to a secure connection, which I accept. Then, a Google login window with narrrative going on and on about Google Accounts comes up. I have no such Account, so I didn't go further. Looks like visible parameter passing (setting of "cid") is going on with this link, which contains a string with a variety of things. It's using 2-char hex codes prefaced with "%" as substitutes for the real thing, like "3A" being decimal 58, being HTML's colon char. The "25" looks most suspicious, since that ends up to be the percent sign itself, followed by the literal "40". I bet what's meant here is the at sign ("@"), since this sorta smells like an e-mail address, and hex 40 is actually the at sign... Just a guess, but try "...choice%40yahoo...". Oh, and take out the space from the whole link, too... NOW spin it!... Handy little table for this kind of thing here, if you like: www.htmlref.com/reference/appc/standard.htm(Forgive me; Like doctors make the worst patients, programmers make the worst users!...)

I think I've got the right calendar now. It isn't pretty but it allows everyone to use it and it will remain free. I'm in the middle of completely redesigning the site anyway, so I'm not concerned about how it looks for the time being. northernmichiganfun.com
